TREAT YOURSELF DAILY
Heather is by far the most widespread plant and grows abundantly in the wild over bogs and mountains throughout Ireland. Its blossoms paint the landscape with tiny bell-shaped flowers in soft pinks, lavender and white, all summer long. In autumn the foliage changes hue that deepens and grows richer in tone. The subtle fresh scent of heather has some floral and earthy notes, described as being woody and mossy. Heather is known for its hardiness and its ability to thrive in areas with poor, rocky soil and to survive even the harshest weather conditions. Historically, the Heather plant played an important part in the daily life of Irish people. It was used as thatch for roofing, bedding, ropes and in the making of baskets and brooms.

HEATHER
The hardy, pretty plant has long been valued for its astringent, antiseptic and healing properties. It has been used to eliminate the causes and effects of skin damage; control microbial growth, disinfect the skin and treat wounds and burns. The resilient shrub is known for its rich nutrients that induce collagen production, delay skin ageing and inhibit skin cancer. It provides strong antioxidant protection from pollution and UV radiation for our skin. It accelerates the process of tissue repair, reduces irritation, redness, swelling, and relieves itching with its calming and soothing properties.
MOSS
There are approximately 120 species of Sphagnum Moss. The most common type is the pale green bog moss but it can have a range of other colours, such as dark green, yellow, and even pink, red and brown. It has been used throughout history and it is still used today as a dressing for wounds due to its antiseptic and antibiotic qualities. Sphagnum Moss is twice as absorbent as cotton wool. It is a fantastic sponge as it can hold up to 26 times its own body weight in water. Its moisture-retaining ability has been effectively applied to skincare products to relieve dryness, and soothe, hydrate and tone your skin.
BRAZILIAN RAINFOREST PURPLE CLAY
The purple Rainforest clay comes from a sustainable mine located in a remote region in Brazil. It is naturally coloured and doesn’t have any dyes or pigments. The beautiful purple shade is achieved by the rich mineral content in Mg (Magnesium) and K (Potassium). This clay has a middle level of absorption, making it a suitable additive for a wide variety of skin types. It is used in skincare because of its excellent cleansing and purifying properties. It serves as a natural, gentle exfoliant, as well as a way to remove oils and impurities from your skin.
