One of my favourite natural scents is Water Mint. Water Mint grows in damp ground and wet places where you would normally wear wellies. This season, Water Mint was ethically harvested on the shores of Lough Ennell, Mullingar; a place that was an inspiration for Jonathan Swift's most famous book, Gulliver’s Travels.
This soap is formulated with a triple-minty blend of essential oils and INFUSED with wildcrafted Irish Water Mint and Woodland Nettle. It provides many benefits to your skin that go beyond its aroma.

WATER MINT
Water Mint was one of the herbs held sacred by the Druids in Ireland in the distant past. Like other mints, it offers a myriad of benefits and should be included in your skincare routine.
The cooling effect and the strong anti-inflammatory properties help to soothe and calm itchy and irritated skin. Mint has strong anti-bacterial properties and contains salicylic acid – both of which effectively prevent Acne. As a natural mild astringent, mint has the potential to keep your pores from clogging up and fade acne scars, leaving you with a clearer and smoother complexion. It also locks in moisture by tightening your pores and stimulates blood circulation, ensuring that your skin is well-hydrated and nourished, hence slowing down the ageing process and delaying the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. It acts as a local anaesthetic, relieving muscular or rheumatic pain. It curbs the proliferation of fat cells and promotes skin firmness. In addition, mint contains vitamin C, A and omega-3 fatty acids, which help protect your skin from sunburn.
WOODLAND NETTLE
A natural beautifier and skin-nurturing herb, Nettle is a good source of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. It is known for its gentle astringent action and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and can be exceptionally helpful in easing skin conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis, and Dermatitis. Nettle is also used to treat skin burns, insect bites and Acne. A wonderful remedy for easing itchy skin and quick healing of patchy rashes, as well as reducing blemishes and burn scars. For physically active people, Nettle contains valuable components that can reduce muscle pain caused by straining and overstretching.
SPIRULINA
Spirulina, blue-green algae, is packed with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-bacterial ingredients, making it one of the hottest skincare ingredients on the market. Applied topically to the skin, this superfood can do wonders when it comes to glow and complexion.

Because it is naturally rich in chlorophyll, antioxidants, and essential vitamins, using it to tint soap bars eliminates the need for synthetic dyes while directly delivering heavy-duty dermatological perks.
