What is Diatomite?
Diatoms are single-celled photosynthesizing algae that are found in almost every freshwater and marine aquatic environment. Diatomite is a kind of natural siliceous rocky soil (fossilised algae) deposited over millennia which has a neutral PH value, and a light and soft texture. It has a strong ability to absorb peculiar smells and moisture due to its porous properties.

These are not considered defects unless they affect the functioning of it. We cannot accept returns or refunds for that reason.
The maintenance of diatomite is quite simple and easy. If it gets stained use running water for over a minute. You could use a detergent if any stains are stubborn or difficult to remove with water. After a long time of use, please use the sandpaper and gently rub the surface to keep its high absorption ability.
Although the composition of diatomite makes it naturally durable, it will break if treated poorly. Avoid dropping or exposing it to blunt forces.
